Joe grew up north of the Border in the Toronto Canada area where he completed his undergraduate work in Kinesiology. He moved to the U.S. to complete a Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine/Exercise Physiology at California State University Fresno. He was then accepted into the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Loma Linda Medical University where he graduated with Honors in 2009. Joe played D1 volleyball for York University and Brock University in Canada. He was then recruited to play for Fresno State’s team during his Master’s Degree. Joe has also worked as a personal trainer for 12 years and has been privileged to work with people of all ages and all athletic backgrounds. As a physical therapist Joe has worked predominantly in the outpatient orthopedic setting with a variety of patients and a large variety of conditions.
