Jen has joined our team as a Certified Athletic Trainer. She received her Bachelors degree in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine from the University of Vermont in 2010 and became certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association. She then went on to pursue her Masters in Athletic Training in 2013 from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Athletic trainers work primarily with athletes needing acute care on the field but also progress those athletes through their rehabilitation of that injury. Jen has worked with athletes of all levels, from novice to professional, with athletic development, sport specific training, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. She also has experience with marathon and half marathon training as well as injury prevention. Jen moved to Jackson seeking adventure and passion to utilize her skills. In addition to being an Athletic Trainer, Jen is also a Certified Sports and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Certified in Active Isolated Stretching (AIS), Certified in Kinesiotaping, and Certified in Sportsmetrics, which is an ACL injury prevention program.
Jen’s PT Tip: “Take care of yourself. Feel good and choose activities that compliment and balance your outdoor activities.”
