Gianna graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2007, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Physiology and a Certificate in Neuroscience. Continuing her education at the University of Colorado, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013. She also has her Certificate as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
Gianna is from Colorado, where she has worked with the full spectrum of active communities ranging from world-class competitors to weekend warriors. Her passion lies within orthopedics with a strong emphasis on manual therapy and prescriptive exercise skills. Some of her most rewarding experiences include working with high school athletes. In addition, Gianna has also been exposed to a variety of patient populations including traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, cerebrovascular disease, and pulmonary dysfunctions. She is currently the Knee Rehabilitation and Conditioning instructor at Studio Excel.

Gianna is always up for an adventure, whether it is traveling, enjoying the outdoors, or learning something new. She also enjoys skiing, backpacking, biking, soccer, running, paddle boarding, live music and photography.
