Chani has found a love for outpatient orthopedics and is very excited to be part of the Excel team to promote health, wellness and physical rehabilitation for the active Jackson population.
Her specialties include:
- Manual Therapy: massage therapy certification, myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, muscle energy, scar massage
- Core Stabilization
- Therapeutic exercise, postural stabilization, injury prevention and body mechanics
- TRX Suspension Training Certified
Chani is active in a variety of area activities, including fly fishing, hiking, rafting, wakeboarding/surfing, snowshoeing, skiing, and photography. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Chani’s PT tip: Core stabilization is of great importance for whole body injury prevention and rehabilitation. From back and neck pain to knee, ankle and shoulder injuries–having a strong core can reduce painful compensation patterns during recovery and prevent future injury.
